Atlantic Westchester is pleased to welcome our new Sales Executive, Bob Murphy.
Murphy, a Certified Energy Manager, will assist with growing Atlantic Westchester’s NYC presence in HVAC maintenance and energy efficiency retrofits. Atlantic Westchester works exclusively with commercial, industrial and institutional buildings across the New York metro area. Murphy will work alongside our engineers to help clients identify energy conservation opportunities, take advantage of utility rebates and incentives and receive federal and state tax deduction benefits. Atlantic Westchester’s suite of energy efficiency services includes: heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, customized equipment maintenance programs, benchmarking and building management systems.
Murphy joins Atlantic Westchester from Columbia University Medical Center as Assistant Director of Facilities, where he was responsible for overseeing operations budget management, all MEP projects and operations and the building’s management systems. During his time at Columbia University Medical Center, Murphy installed a sub-metering platform to measure utilities being served from the Central Plant to the newly opened Vagelos Education Center. Murphy also completed an oil to natural gas conversion for three large boilers in the central plant. Prior to working at Columbia University Medical Center, Murphy worked at Johnson Controls, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Siemens.
