Linc Service Franchise Network Expands in New York Metropolitan Area
Canonsburg, PA—April 26, 2017—ABM Franchising Group, LLC, a subsidiary of ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM), a leading provider of facility solutions, announced that Atlantic Westchester, Inc., signed a franchise agreement to join its Linc Service franchise network. Atlantic Westchester, Inc., is a leading provider of mechanical service contracting in the New York metropolitan area.

Based in Bedford Hills, NY, Atlantic Westchester, Inc., has been providing a wide range of customized mechanical services, including: HVAC service, installation and maintenance; replacements; energy efficiency retrofitting; and building automation system to clients across the New York metropolitan area.
Atlantic Westchester was founded in 1961, in Mt. Vernon, NY, as a mechanical contracting company. Hammer’s family purchased Atlantic Westchester in 1979, and focused on providing HVAC service, repair, maintenance and renovation to commercial, industrial and institutional facilities. In 1987, the family moved the office to Bedford Hills.
Hammer said the company currently has 27 employees, but plans on adding more technicians and sales personnel as it continues to grow as part of the Linc Service network.
During its long history of outstanding service in the New York metropolitan area, Atlantic Westchester, Inc., has received several awards, including Westfair Communications’ “Family Owned Business” Award in 2017; Westchester Green Business Challenge’s “Achievement in Transportation” Award in 2016; and the Town of Bedford Conservation Board’s “Green Business Award” in 2015 for installing solar panels at its facility to improve its energy conservation efforts. The company has also received Westchester Green Business Certification, which recognizes Westchester County-based organizations dedication to next-level sustainability efforts.
